I had awe ha moment this week when was talking to my friend about all the mommy blogs out there, and how most of them make me feel... well less than perfect.
So I decided to start blogging again, with no sugar coating, no details spared, just my life. And my attempt to live another day as a mom.
Today was one of those days that you just wish it would start over the minute it happened.
3am Lilly my oldest comes into my room and says she wants to cuddle... in her bed... all that is fine whatever.
We get to her room, I don't want the white blanket I want to pink blanket, I don't want any blankets, no I want the white blanket... ahhhhh
We get that resolved, no blanket, just sheet
Water, I need water! ok... I get her water... NO! the pink one, not the green one.... ahhhh
I tell her she has the pink one or nothing, thats it.
I cuddle in... she kicks, wiggles, and cries... "don't touch me, get out of my bed." so I do... "no mom don't leave." so i get out. "don't touch me, get out of my bed." and so on, until I just can't take it anymore.... SWAT.... crying. She cuddles me, cause thats what you do... you cuddle the person who just spanked you. She falls asleep, I sneak out.
4am
Five minutes later, "MOM!!!" crying, screaming.... ahhhh. I push Andy awake, because of course he has slept through all of this (oh to by a guy) and I say you better go, or I may loose it!
He goes in, says "Lilly, stop crying go to sleep" and she does..... wah wah at least now we all get to sleep.
4:15am
we are all asleep again... it's nice....
6:30am
Audrey wakes up and the day begins!
On the up side of today, IT'S EASTER! and GENERAL CONFERENCE! so my body my be exhausted, but my spirit is full, and I have candy in the house to get me through the rest!
