For YEARS now I've been wishing for the same thing every year for Christmas! This year I'm finally getting it, a BABY! I'm due on December 13th... We are so so so excited and ready!
I was getting ready to go back to school, we had just moved back in with my parents so i couldn't quit and go to school, when we found out that school wasn't going to be an happening because I wouldn't be able to finish the semester! ha ha awesome! it's funny how you can want to something for so long, and pray so hard, and finally when it's not the right time... it is. I've been almost in a state of shock for the last couple of months, trying to rap my head around the fact that I'm having a baby. The first time we heard the heart beat it was so surreal that i couldn't believe it, and wasn't really paying attention. At my last appointment however as soon as i heard that strong little thumping i held as still as i could, took a deep breath, and smiled for ear to ear. I listened more intently, with more captivation to that little thump thump thump, than i ever have to anything in my whole life! I can't believe how luckily and blessed i am! Life is going to be hard, and crazy, even more so if we can't move out of my parents house... (different story). I'll i know is I'm bursting! and i've never been this excited for anything in my whole life! when i was little people used to ask me what i wanted to be when i grow up, and i always said i wanted to be a mommy. It's the truth, being a teacher is always in the cards too, but i've always wanted to be a mom, and now i get to be!
We find out on July 27th what we are having! i'm hoping for a baby, so... cross your fingers. haha! until next time! (most likely with pictures)
